Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you create an account or place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address. If you contact us, we receive whatever you include in your message.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is sent directly to Stripe and is never received or stored on our servers. We retain only what Stripe returns to us for order support: the card brand, the last four digits, and the authorization result.

Information collected automatically. Our servers log standard request data (IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested, timestamps). We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — principally to keep your shopping cart and, if you log in, your session.

Analytics. If Google Analytics is enabled on the site, Google receives usage data (such as pages viewed and general location derived from IP address) subject to Google’s own privacy policy. Analytics is not required to shop; blocking it does not affect checkout.

We use the information above to:

• process, fulfill, and deliver your orders;
• send transactional email — order confirmations, shipping and tracking notices, refund notices, and a follow-up asking you to review what you bought;
• provide customer support and handle returns;
• calculate sales tax and shipping for your address;
• detect and prevent fraud, and keep the site secure;
• meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We share only what a given company needs to do its job for us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

• Our suppliers (S&S Activewear and SanMar). We ship directly from their warehouses, so they receive the recipient name and shipping address for your order. Orders ship blind — packages show PDQ Shirts as the sender, not the supplier.
• Carriers (primarily UPS), which receive the shipping address to rate and deliver the shipment and to provide tracking.
• Stripe, which processes payments and receives your billing details directly.
• Resend, which delivers our transactional email and therefore receives your email address.
• Google Analytics, if enabled, as described above.
• Authorities or acquirers, where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

We keep order records for as long as needed to support the order and to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal requirements — generally seven years for completed transactions. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by emailing cs@pdqshirts.com. We may need to keep records of completed orders where the law requires it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; transactional messages about an order you placed are not marketing and are sent regardless. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and login require them.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act). We honor those requests through the same email address. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

The site is served over TLS, card data is handled by Stripe rather than by us, and access to order data is limited to people who need it to run the business. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the revised version here.
